I just want my opinions be heard regarding PI. Actually I auditioned last year sa PCC, but I decided na hindi na sumama kase sobrang haba ng pila. Mas maganda if magkakaroon ng maraming pagbabago sa season 2. As we all know naman how America bacame so famous for having great talents, na kahit saang panig ng mundo may fans ang mga contestants. sana kunin nila talaga yung best among the thousands of hopefools dito sa Philippines! If mapapaganda talaga nila ang show na yan (which is dapat naman talaga), it is a great vehicle para makilala ang mga Filipinos sa mundo. Ang first season ng American Idol, ay nagkaroon ng maraming changes and pagdating ng season 2, nagulat ang mga tao sa laki ng ginanda at inimprove ng show. I thought of some of the tips na I really hope bigyan ng pansin ng ABC.

* regarding sa first auditions, maganda talaga. But if ABC will create a unique design sa room ng mga judges (hindi yung plain lang ang color).. sa audition pa lang, ma eexcite na yung mga viewers manood.
* during the second round, which is in Manila, lakihan naman ang Philippine Idol LOgo above the stage, dapat yung kitang kita talaga and of course,
*it is a singing competition, kaya sana yung pinaka magandang uri ng mic ang gamitin para hindi nakakahiya sa mga viewers particularly sa mga pinoy idols na nakasali sa AI like Jasmine Trias etc. Have you notice the reaction of her when she watched the performance night? Although she said that the contestants were amazing singers, i still saw and read upon her face na parang napipilitan lang syang sabihin yun kasi that night hindi kagandahan ang mga performances nila, not mentioning pumiyok pa yata si John Nieto in some oh his song pieces throughout the competion. With nice audio, ang maganda ang boses mas lalong gaganda. Ang tendency, mas lalong maraming maho-hook sa show!
* iyong stage na pagkakantahan ng top 30 sana gawan ng paraan ng management na iseparate to that of the stage na ginagamit sa top 12. Hindi naman masamang gayahin ang concept ng AI, cos after all, PI was a franchise of the said show. Madaling nagsasawa ang mga viewers kung ganun ng ganun ang pinagpeperforman nilang stage.
* Lightings, gosh this is a very important aspect aside of the sounds. Kelangan kelangan iimprove talaga.
* Camera angle, is I consider as the key to caught the attention of the viewers. I don’t know if ABC can do the circling of the camera to the contestant, o yung pagdating sa mga nanonood at home eh dalawa ang image ng contestant (one is close-up while the half is not). A creative cameraman adds drama and effect to the show a way lot better!
* And regarding sa mga outfits, sana naman palitan na nating yung masyadong colorful o yung mga parang aatend lagi ng kutilyon, cos that styles stink! Ok lang na magsuot syempre ng formal pero dapat always remind na ibase sa song choice. Ang pangit tignan ng sobrang makukulay na outfit! Nagsurvey ako dito sa Zambales, and that style of clothing accrdg to them e talagang nakaka sawang panoorin.
* Palakasin ang audio, mahina kasi kaya hindi masyadong na eemphasize ang voice quality.
* Yung official website ng PI pagandahin sana, maraming nagsasabi sakin na kelngan pa daw iimprove talaga.
* And syempre, lakihan ang mga prices… idol is an international show, kaya dapat bongga talaga.

i really hope ABC will listen….please

Ganns, and to the rest of those who have been heard by ABC, congratulations!

I really didn’t expect this change to happen soooo soon! But it is a welcome change.

Anyway, what I’m worried about now is how the fans of Drae, Stef and Reymond will react / feel to this change. I know very much that this would really silence the critics in terms of the voting process (well I guess some of them), but I feel that there will be smoke somewhere else. These past few hours, I have seen in chat forums the outrage of the fans of these 3 idol hopefuls eliminated. They have been saying their bets didn’t have the same opportunity or their bets could have still been in the running.

I don’t know. I guess you really just can’t appease everybody. There will always be someone that you will not consider. But hey, that’s the beauty (or weirdness) of life.
