About a month and a half ago, I spent my weekend at the ultra-posh Amanpulo West Villa in Palawan.
It was, by far the most spectacular place I have ever been to (by myself). I’ve uploaded 39 unbelievable Amanpulo photos onto my Flickr account; please swing by and take a look, and perhaps comment on them.
This shot is one of the few photos that I did not take. My friend Alfie took the shot, and I haven’t been able to get over it. There are many more Amanpulo photos over at my Flickr, so please feel free to visit and comment. You can also view the pictures on my Multiply site. ![]()

I haven’t been to Palawan yet. Don’t let my Palawan shirt (I was wearing it during the parteeh) fool you. Envy, envy.

Oh, Shari! LOL
It’s actually not that expensive to travel within the Philippines anymore, thanks to the airlines’ discounting and travel packages. Our trip to Puerto Princesa, for instance, cost us around P17K for three days, two nights, all in, including air fare, hotel stays, tourist packages, and food the entire trip.
